Verdict

Looks another ideal race for the promising BAD BLOOD (1) who made it 2/2 on resumption at Ballarat Synthetic with a dominant Class 1 win having proved too strong on debut at Stawell. Finds another suitable race and can continue to progress. CHICAGO BLUES (6) resumes. His form tapered off a bit at the end of last campaign but he won well on debut at Kilmore over Celtics who has gone on with it, Chicago Blues running 5th in a G3 himself at just his third start. This suits nicely. WICKED STORM (8) has been solid in two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak now from a soft gate. HOLLYWOODBOULEVARD (2) is a stablemate for the Payne yard in a similar spot through the same race, there's very little between the pair. HIMENO (7) is another Payne galloper who has upside and should improve off a first-up win in easier company.
