Verdict

SUBTLE IMAGE (1) was ridden positively early on when stretching out beautifully late to score an easy win in a slightly tougher class here 2 weeks ago. He has adapted to racing on this poly track very well, and despite the weight rise, he can win again. PLATINUM SIXTY SIX (2) has not won for some time, but his last couple of starts have indicated that his next win is not far away. If he can hold his spot early from the pole position, then he is more than capable of taking this out. WENEEDASHOCK (6) made a mess of his rivals by winning his hurdle debut at Te Aroha nearly 4 weeks ago when following on from some strong flat form. He can't be underestimated in this. STREET APPEAL (7) stepped up to this trip for the first time to score an overdue maiden win. The step up to this grade is not a huge leap, and with 4lbs less to carry, she can repeat the dose. RUJI (3) went huge fresh, and then was looking for this trip when finishing sixth here last time out. Stick with him. Each-way value.
